TYPO3 Content Elements

TYPO3 content elements

TYPO3 lets you create and manage different types of content on your website. With content elements, you can add text, images, videos, and more to your pages. It's easy to arrange and edit these elements to make your site look just the way you want. Whether you want a simple text block or a photo gallery, TYPO3 has you covered!

Content elements are the basic units with which editors fill pages in TYPO3. Each element has a type, such as text, text with image, image gallery, table, form, video or plugin, and appears in a column of the page.

In the page module elements are created, moved, copied, hidden and published on a schedule. Via backend layouts administrators determine which columns exist and which types are allowed. This prevents content from ending up in unsuitable places.

Each element has fields such as heading, text, images, links and display options. The rich text editor allows formatting, while templates ensure that the result fits the design. Editors do not have to write HTML and still work in a structured way.

Good concepts limit the selection to sensible elements. Too many options confuse and lead to inconsistency. Custom elements for recurring tasks, such as teasers or contact boxes, make work easier and ensure a uniform appearance.

Multilingualism is also built in: elements can be translated per language or taken over from the main language. Note that translations must stay up to date.

Permissions control who may create or change which elements. This protects sensitive areas.

For SEO and accessibility, clean headings, alternative texts and understandable link texts in the elements are important.

Train editors in handling the available types and keep examples ready.

We design content elements for your TYPO3 project that are easy to operate and well maintained.

This keeps the editorial work efficient.

Adapt elements when requirements change and remove unused types so that the backend stays clear.
