Certainly, The TYPO3 team has published the maintenance releases - version 12.4.3 and version 11.5.29 which conclude bugfix mainly. TYPO3 Version 12.4.3 brings a host of bug fixes, performance enhancements, and security updates, ensuring that your TYPO3 websites continue to run smoothly and securely.  For those who are still using TYPO3 version 11, the 11.5.29 maintenance release is a lifeline. Recently, the article also announces on TYPO3 12.4.4 and 11.5.30 security releases that the TYPO3 team has just released. These security releases address important security issues including corresponding security advisories which encourage upgrading TYPO3 12.4.4 and 11.5.30. Over the past month, TYPO3’s dedicated team of experts has been working tirelessly to maintain and optimize servers. The team was actively working on creating a more convenient workflow for themselves and their users. Meanwhile, the TYPO3 community was introduced to manage user identity and provide a single sign-on service. Instead of LDAP they are now moving to SAML protocols.

The Press release emphasizes an open letter by major Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) content management platforms, including Drupal, Joomla, TYPO3 and WordPress, addressing concerns about the proposed EU Cyber Resilience Act. While supporting software security goals, they warn against potential adverse effects on the EU's economy, innovation, and core values due to the Act's ban on "unfinished software" and unclear definitions of "commercial activity." The letter highlights FOSS projects' role in promoting EU core values, such as human dignity, freedom, democracy, and equality, and urges collaboration on shared goals. Emphasizing the importance of FOSS independence, the signatories invite EU Commission members to a seminar in Brussels to explore maintaining FOSS's status as a key driver of European innovation and prosperity.
