HiTHIUM, a **leading energy storage solutions provider** in **China**, operates across multiple continents. As they continue to expand, the HiTHIUM team focuses on growing its presence in Europe, starting with **Germany**. Their main goal is to connect with local audiences by showcasing their expertise and solutions through a **powerful, secure**, and **flexible content management system (CMS)**. TYPO3 was selected for its scalability, flexibility, and ability to deliver high-performance websites that align with HiTHIUM’s ambitious vision for **expanding into the European market**.

As the largest energy storage provider with plants in various regions, HiTHIUM requires a multilingual website to connect with local audiences from different continents. The website should reflect their strong expertise, feature a modern design, and have easy-to-understand navigations, showcasing their leadership in energy storage solutions.

From Concept to TYPO3 Award Nominee Website

The HiTHIUM website was initially built on **WordPress**, but there was a need for a multilingual website with a strong and secure CMS that could safeguard European user privacy to expand their business to the European market. To give the website a native touch and ensure **robust security** for its users, we **redeveloped** it from **WordPress to TYPO3**. Migrating from one CMS to another requires careful planning to adapt to European regulations and provide a native feel to the site. We chose TYPO3 as the core CMS due to its flexibility in content management and strong security standards.
While adopting TYPO3, we also ensured fast performance, adhered to SEO best practices, and implemented a modern UI/UX design. ### **Fresh Look with Modern Designs**
While migrating the website from one CMS to another, it also needed a redesign to make it feel more familiar to German users. Making the HiTHIUM website visually interactive was one of our key challenges. To address this, we implemented **interactive content block elements** to showcase HiTHIUM’s story to users.

With a large European user base, safeguarding customer data is a top priority. TYPO3’s built-in **GDPR compliance** allows us to securely manage and store data, ensuring we meet all privacy standards.

To give the website the best performance, we took a multi-layered approach. This includes installing a powerful TYPO3 extension for caching static files, optimizing the code, dynamically optimizing images, and refining the database and server settings.

HiTHIUM's primary goal was to connect with people in their native language. To meet this need, we implemented **TYPO3’s multilingual capabilities**, allowing all languages **(English, Italian, and German)** to be managed seamlessly in one place. This ensures smooth communication with users across different regions.

### **TYPO3 + HiTHIUM CRM System**
As one of the largest energy storage solution providers, HiTHIUM needed a custom mechanism to **generate** and **capture European leads** on a central platform. We developed a unique solution by integrating **HiTHIUM’s CRM System** with **TYPO3**, enabling seamless lead generation and management. The **custom lead generation** extension we built significantly boosted lead capture and centralized their lead data management.

To meet this need, we integrated **GitLab CI/CD** with the TYPO3 auto-deployment system, ensuring smooth and efficient deployments across multiple environments.
