#### **TYPO3 Content Blocks for v13**:

The team is actively working on the TYPO3 Content Blocks Core patch for version 13. Due to architectural changes in the core for v12, the patch was not merged into that version. Instead, the team decided to rebuild their approach to match the new architecture for v13. The patch needs to be merged before a Content Blocks release for [v12](https://nitsantech.de/en/blog/typo3-v12) can be made available.

#### **Membership Changes:**

Manuel Schnabel joined the team as an active member, bringing his experience working with [TYPO3 ](https://nitsantech.de/en/blog/typo3)and his expertise in the AI SEO Helper extension. Manuel is actively supporting the team in implementing and further developing the content blocks.

#### **Leadership Changes:**

André Kraus has taken over the leadership responsibility as the new lead of the Structured Content Initiative. Lidia Demin, one of the founders of the initiative, stepped down as team lead to address new challenges in her personal life but remains a silent member and will support the team if possible. André Kraus, now leading the initiative, is one of the leading developers and has been involved in the conceptual work of the Content Blocks.

Lidia Demin expresses her pride in the achievements of the initiative and thanks the TYPO3 community for their support and encouragement over the years. While she is leaving the team, she remains connected to the community and hopes to return to working with TYPO3 in the future.

This move marks a significant endorsement of TYPO3's capabilities and showcases its suitability for large-scale government projects.

The German government's previous CMS, CoreMedia, was replaced with TYPO3 due to several reasons, including the need for better cost-effectiveness, improved scalability, and enhanced security features. The decision to switch to TYPO3 was also influenced by its extensive community support and the availability of numerous ready-to-use extensions.

TYPO3's flexibility and adaptability were crucial factors in its selection, enabling the German government to tailor the CMS to its specific requirements. The migration process involved collaboration between various government agencies, ensuring a smooth transition and successful implementation of TYPO3.

This shift to TYPO3 by the German government not only demonstrates the CMS's reliability but also serves as a testament to its ability to meet the stringent demands of large-scale, mission-critical projects. TYPO3's open-source nature, coupled with its extensive functionality, makes it an appealing choice for organizations seeking a robust and customizable CMS solution.
